Hyatt Regency Atlanta Case Study

Isabella Lee from BLUR Workshop came to us looking for a distressed faux leather to meet the specs for an in room seating project at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Although we did not have the perfect match in our existing product line, our team of dedicated account managers and sales representatives were able to collaborate with our incredible vendors to develop a custom product that turned our customers’ vision into a reality. The result was a beautiful, matte faux leather that featured a genuine, distressed look.
“KB got the custom vinyl correct on the first try, and it has been my go-to ever since,” said Isabella Lee. “Some people on the project did not even realize that it was not leather.”
We were so in love with the authenticity and hand of this faux leather that we had to give it a spot in our line. We expanded Burton’s color line from 2 custom colors to 18 unique colorways ranging from gorgeous neutrals to vibrant hues.
“My customer loved our pattern, Glaze, but wanted it in a matte finish. We were able to create two custom colors for the customer - one for the hedboards and another for the guest room desk chair,” said KB Contract Sales Representative, Ryan Rawlinson. “ The end result is a beautiful faux leather that fit the design inspiration perfectly and exceeded our customers’ expectations.”
